Anyone who knows the South's knows that my sweet hubby proudly drives a 92 Geo Tracker. When I say proudly I mean very proudly. He has had it forever now...too long in my opinion. He has always said that when he gets promoted to Major he'll get his status car...honey that was last year August. I guess for him the Tracker is the status car. It is something that everyone he has ever worked with ranks on him for but it doesn't matter that is his baby and I developed the philosophy "if you can't beat em, join em!"
See as much as I love Shawn to drive a car with air bag, a car that stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter he is determined to keep that thing. It made it cross country to California, several times from Texas to Florida, to Vegas from Cali, and from Vegas to Colorado with one "minor" breakdown in the middle on nowhere Utah. While he is deployed I was "ordered" to drive his car every now and again. As noisy as it is...I have to admit it still drives great!
Shawn car is his status for sure. It sums up everything he is: simple, practical, and yep CHEAP :) When my dad is here it gets driven a lot. My dad loves to cruise to the golf course in it. And when I see it pulling up to our house my heart skips a beat. I think oh my babe is home... knowing that we still have 3 more months to go. IT has always been that way. When we lived at Beale I could be almost anywhere in our house and know he was home as his flash of red caught my eye. I can't wait for him to pull up to the house in that jeep again! We will be waiting!
I love my simple, practical, cheap husband and I love his champ! I think our girls will be following in their daddy;s footsteps!

I didn't realize you still had the Champ! Shawn sure is stuck in his ways with that one but at least it saves money! Haha
