Alice's love affair with snow...the saga

So as most of you know we were all so EXCITED to move to Colorado...Alice too, until she realized that it was going to snow... and the snow would get on her boots, and her coat, and her face...

Since we lived in CA and frequented Tahoe often we thought she'd be a snow baby like her sister. No... No... NO! Alice hated the snow for almost the first 3 years of her life! That was a major heartache for all the rest of the Souths... because we LOVE it. So we bundled her up, carried her through the snow for almost 3 years, and never forced her to have snow fun.

Thankfully this year, after the first snow fall Alice declared... I like NO now.. (snow now)! We were so happy! But it had not been tested. So we bundled her up and took her sledding and she really loved it! Until she got a face full of snow...then it was more tears... more carrying... but she eventually got back out there and sled some more. Now she is even sledding on her own! For Christmas Shawn and I got her snow googles... so really no more tears!
