My Birthday!

Since Kalei was born my birthday is kind of an after thought. Not in a bad way, but I got the greatest gift ever on Sept 26, 2004 when I brought Kalei home from the hospital. So that birthday gift is kind of had to top. Plus we are usually so busy with her party preparation we are too exhausted to do much on my day. Honestly I am okay with that. I love the attention on my Kalei girl. This birthday was so special though. Even though Shawn is away he made me feel so loved by sending me the most beautiful flowers. If you know Shawn you know that he doesn't do that often and when he does it is super special to me!

The girls made my day too. They were so sweet and loving. Giving me extra birthday kisses and hugs! I decided that Friday was the perfect day to hit the beach. We are so close to the beach and we still don't go nearly enough. There is no better excuse to go to the beach than on a birthday...and I needed to find a new swim suit! So we headed over to Pensacola beach and had the most PERFECT Time on the beach! The Gulf was calm and the sand cozy warm between our toes! It was awesome!

Finally that night my mom, sister, brother in law, my Hayden, Kalei and Alice Mae took me out to the a little cafe in downtown Milton. It was so awesome. We sat outside, listened to music... the band was all about the country music my fave! The kids dances and Kalei almost worked uo enough courage to sing "Stealing Cinderella" in the mic! I had the yummiest Portobella Mushroom Sandwich and a Birthday Cake that was soooo sweet... too sweet in fact I couldn't finish my piece... I guess Body for life trained my taste buds:)

So all in all my birthday was very special. Even though My Best Friend was all the way across the country celebrating with me from a distance... I felt his love and I feel so loved!

Happy Birthday! It's amazing how our little ones can make us feel so special on our Birthdays. Olivia was the first little voice I heard on my Birthday and she said, "Isn't today your B-Day, Mom?" How sweet. She told me at least 15 times "Happy Birthday, Mom." Over and over. It was so cute! I'm glad that you were with your family on such a special day! Portabello sandwich, yummy!!
